4 Hearts from Night Owl Romance for Phaze Fantasies VI

Review Snippet:

Continuing Education by D. Musgrave was definitely my favorite story; it was well written with great characterization and a premise that is always entertaining – that of a teacher dom. Nicolas was an endearing character and made for a dynamic duo with Stephanie.

5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies for The War Within (413 Remembrance Lane: Diary of a House).

Review Snippet:

THE WAR WITHIN both spooked me and left me dying to know how it was going to end. I can't imagine coming home from the war and reliving all of my friend's deaths and being haunted by evil spirits. I sure as hell can't imagine being Sheila and having some strange spirit, who I thought was my husband, bringing me to orgasm. William is a hero to me and the lengths he goes to in order to protect his wife and his home will have you enthralled with this story in no time. D. Musgrave has become one of my favorite authors and THE WAR WITHIN definitely cements him there. This story will have your blood turning cold, your libido shooting up to the moon and leave you wondering just how much this diary in the house is capable of.

413 REMEMBRANCE LANE: DIARY OF A HOUSE is sinfully delicious. Be prepared to disappear into a multitude of time periods for a few hours. Each author brings their own special ingredients to this heart-stopping collection. There is no way I can pick my favorite story, as each one I seemed to love more than the last. From pirates and vampires to same sex loving, there is something that will appeal to everyone in this book from today's hottest authors. The diary itself really kept my attention. I would love to be able to find one in my home and share all the other inhabitants' adventures! This was such a unique storyline that kept my attention riveted to each individual story. I will be talking about this collection to everyone I know for a very long time to come.

5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies for Blood Creek Haunting.

Review Snippet: Excuse me while I gush about this book! BLOOD CREEK HAUNTING is fantastic—by far the most extraordinary book I've read in a very long time. This story has it all—action, drama, romance and a touch of the paranormal—all rolled together to blow readers away. This is my very first D. Musgrave story. Friends have been recommending him to me for a long time and now I completely understand why. The storyline was like a gut punch. I could not imagine being in the Cherokees shoes while all these horrible things were happening to them. Their women were raped and killed, along with their children. Everything they had built had been torn from them. Emily, being a descendent of a Cherokee woman is suddenly plunged into a nightmare. To her, some crazy Indian guy is taking over her dreams and she doesn't know what's going on. The passion that suddenly explodes between Emily and Tessa is unforgettable. These two should have been together for years. From heartache and betrayal to passion and heart melting romance, BLACK CREEK HAUNTING deserves a standing ovation. D. Musgrave really garnered a huge fan and I'll be devouring everything he ever writes!

Six Phaze favorites guarantee to enthrall with this sizzling collection of erotic shorts. Featuring:

To Have and To Hold by Yvette Hines: Kelli Delaney spent the last year planning for the perfect wedding. What she didn't plan for was getting to the altar and not having a groom there waiting for her. Dumped and pissed, Kelli decides she's still going to have her honeymoon and eat her cake too. When she meets up with her college crush, Will Robertson she finds herself submitting to a passionate weekend she couldn't have arranged for in her wildest dreams.

Continuing Education by D. Musgrave: By day, Stephanie Barrett is a high school English Teacher. By night, she's the Grand Mistress of a dungeon club, without a submissive to call her own. When she spots Nicolas Adamson, back in town from college, she remembers the strong feelings she had for him, but never acted on. A plan forms in her mind, to lure him into her lair. Thus begins the realization of her longest held fantasy--to find a submissive of her own.

Sam the Man by Jude Mason: Sammy Nicholson was the epitome of what we all might think of as 'flaming' gay. Small, well dressed in outrageous clothing, he loved to shock and tease. But Sammy was much more. A part time hospice worker, he fell for a client's husband and after some soul searching, the man tumbled for him as well. When the wife finally passes away, guilt sets in. Can Sammy's special kind of love break down the barriers Greg has set up for himself?

Precious Things by Augusta Li: Yaoi/Fantasy/BDSM: Far in the future, civilization has collapsed and people have gathered in walled City-States for protection from the dangers lurking in the Wastelands outside. Leaf is content in his role as slave-boy to his beautiful and enigmatic Master, Leannan. But when an associate from Leannan's past arrives, the secure routine of Leannan and Leaf's life is disrupted, and Leaf must confront truths about his Master he'd rather not know. He must find the strength to do what he dreads most: act alone, without his Master's guidance.

Statues by Jessie Verino: Alexandria Darnoud values her privacy as much as her art collection. Her living art collection. Rumors run wild throughout New Orleans about her hedonistic, invitation only, parties. Dante is a report working undercover as one of her statues in order to break the story of his career.

Tough, take no prisoners Alexandria, has a secret she dares not even acknowledge to herself. She wants to surrender her hidden passion to a man who can take control, and Dante is her man of choice. But will Dante give up his story, his career, to keep Alexandria tied to his bed? iSUBmiT by N: A perfume might be bottled eroticism, but iSUBmiT is more. iSUBmiT is bottled darkness. And to learn how to sell the darkest of erotic promises Svetlana must first experience them. She must go to So-UnReal-Ism?

I know, I know. I haven't posted anything in the blog in months.

I have an excuse...really, I do.

Okay, it's lame, but I had to take a step back and reassess my choices. I needed time to evaluate where I am and what I want for long and short term goals. In that time, I made some resolutions for the coming year.  The first on the list is a refocus on my writing, and saying no to people and things that are counter to my spirit and psyche. I now sit here ready for the future, whatever it holds.

Now Available from Phaze: 413 Remembrance Lane: Diary of a House

Two centuries, many owners, and the question has been asked . . . is it blessed, or cursed?

There is a certain house in New Orleans at 413 Remembrance Lane. Within the walls lives end and begin, myths and superstition blend with reality, erotic fantasies are realized, and always love has held the upper hand.

It is the house, steeped in history and the emotions of those who have lived there? Or perhaps the legend goes a little deeper.

'Midnight Confession' by Cheri Valmont offers a journey to the wild, untamed settlement of 1750s New Orleans.  A place where a special house, a magical diary, and a pirate captain named Miles Chadwick holds the key to Catherine Ashbury's everlasting happiness... or complete ruin.

Serena Duclos is torn between two men and one very extraordinary request.  Luckily, she lives in a house where wishes can come true and passion isn't always defined by convention ... in Emma Wildes' 'An Extraordinary Request'

In Jude Mason's 'Of Death and Desire', Jonathan Strand moves himself and his terminally ill lover, Philip, to one of the lovely historical houses of New Orleans.  Later, consumed by grief and tormenting dreams, he finds a diary, and perhaps the answer to his prayers.  But at what price?

In 'The War Within' By D. Musgrave, William Beauregard returns from WWII, only to find the visions of the death and destruction haunting him still.  He can't shake them and it's pushed him away from his wife, Sheila.  These hauntings, have him afraid of the voices and images and worries he may lash out at them, hurting his wife.  To rid himself of the ghosts, he must take a huge risk, one that could lose his wife to him for ever.

In 'Let The Sunshine In' by Jamie Hill, Scott and Terri Walker move to Remembrance Lane hoping for a fresh start in their marriage.  Handsome, hirsute Rafe McAllister isn't precisely what they're looking for, but might be exactly what they need.

Mix in an old house, a magic diary, a sexy young college student and a sinfully handsome vampire and you've got a story sure to stir the... blood in Skyler Grey's 'My Vampire, My Love'.

Natasha has come to regret the choices she has made in her life, the biggest one being turning away from the one woman she had ever loved.  But thanks to a late night visit from a succubus and the diary of 413 Remembrance Lane, she can have a second chance, in Michelle Houston's 'The Life Not Lived'.
